At the CornerHouse centre, a relaxed and informal atmosphere is maintained in which tea, coffee and biscuits are served free of charge and a snack lunch at the cost of one pound. A programme of activities is provided, including art, creative writing, music and quizzes plus themed days and special events. In addition, members often go together to events elsewhere in the town, including indoor bowling, the cinema and concerts.
