At the beginning of June a Salsa afternoon was held to celebrate the life of Anthony Loobey, a talented artist, who sadly passed away last year. The event was held at the Stoke Pub in Guildford. MondoLatinoUK provided expert taster lessons accompanied by live music.

A raffle was held, which included reproductions from Anthonys artwork as well as prizes donated by local companies. At the end of July Patricia, his mother, presented Woking Mind with the a very generous donation from the event totalling 940 pounds. We will be using this to help support the continuation of our extracurricular activities.
