Woking Mind, working across Surrey2022-06-22T11:23:33+00:00

** IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ **

Please find below an official statement from Peter Christmas, Chair of Trustees at Woking Mind:

“It is with great sadness that we confirm that Woking Mind will be closing by the end of August 2022. Unfortunately, it is proving extremely challenging to raise sufficient funds despite continuing demand for our services. This means that the charity is no longer sustainable and therefore the Trustees have had to make this very difficult decision.

We understand this news will be incredibly difficult for our clients, valued volunteers and our dedicated staff. Over the coming weeks, we will be working closely with national Mind, neighbouring local Minds, and other local service providers to minimise the effects of this closure. This includes supporting our clients to access other services in the area and helping our staff and volunteers to find alternative paid and voluntary opportunities.”

If you have any other concerns or questions about the closure, you can contact Tony Bennett, Chief Executive of Woking Mind by emailing: [email protected]
