Community Support

Community helpline to direct residents of Surrey to local services providing practical help such as picking up prescriptions, shopping etc. Call 0800 2001008. Open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and 10am-2pm weekends.

Employment & Financial Support

Citizens Advice can offer advice on a range of topics including benefits, debt, employment and housing issues. To speak to a local Advisor call 01932 874766. Leave a message and an Advisor will be in touch.

Money Saving Expert provides a series of useful guides on issues such as travel rights, benefits, finance, bills, furlough etc

Bereavement support

Cruse Bereavement Care provide support and advice to those who are struggling with grief and isolation. Their helpline is open Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm (excluding bank holidays) with extended opening Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 8pm.

Access to Talking Therapy via NHS

If we are unable to offer you sessions with one of our Counsellors immediately you can also access free talking therapy via the NHS. In Surrey this is via Mind Matters Surrey IAPT. You must be registered with a GP but can self refer online

Healthy Surrey Virtual Wellbeing Hub

Teen Mental Health - A Guide for Parents

This guide offers parents tips on how to help your teenager through common mental health problems including exam anxiety, peer pressure and cyber bullying and body image. This includes a guide to help parents manage stress.

A free, confidential helpline offering information, friendship & support to older people. This line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
